All Camp Carathir sessions are hosted at existing ACA+ accredited camps and retreats. These offer comfortable lodge style rooms and cozy cabins, and have excellent group facilities and modern amenities. This arrangement allows our artisans and staff to focus on creating an authentic experience, assures you’ll have a comfortable stay, and keeps our costs very reasonable.
Our original location was Suttle Lake Camp, located on Suttle Lake amid the vast Deschutes National Forest. The camp property is owned by the National Forest Service, and administered by the Methodist Church Conference of central Oregon. As a side note, Camp Carathir is non-denominational, we simply rent existing camps. They hold normal youth sessions during summer months, offering their facilities to business conferences, schools, and groups like ours during the rest of the year. The camp is ACA accredited, and offers a huge array of facilities, trail access and more.
